Getting Ready for AdeptiCon 2024!

AdeptiCon 2024 is almost here! As the weekend is generally a grand cacophony of gaming goodness, we just wanted to cover a few of the convention basics to help you get prepared. It’s a bit lengthy, but filled with good information, so without further ado…

YOUR AGENDA
Like previous years, you are responsible for your own agenda. This is a very simple process:

  1. Log into the Cvent registration system by clicking the Already Registered? link at the bottom of the page. Use the email address you registered for AdeptiCon with and your confirmation number.
  2. Click the My Registration menu item and choose My Schedule.
  3. Expand all events so you can see locations and descriptions.
  4. Print the page.

Tournament organizers, hobby instructors and the like will have attendee lists onsite. You do not need a ticket or your Agenda sheet if you preregistered for an event. To check into a preregistered event, you will only need your AdeptiCon Badge.

For your convenience, we also suggest you download the Cvent Events app (App Store | Play Store). Search for AdeptiCon inside the app and log in with the same e-mail you registered for AdeptiCon with to automatically sync your schedule.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Like all conventions, AdeptiCon is a gathering of like-minded individuals coming together to have a good time. Our focus is providing a fun, safe environment for all our attendees, staff, exhibitors, and hosts.

Please familiarize yourself with our Conduct Policy. If you find yourself with concerns, please immediately contact the registration desk, a staff member, or hotel security.

OVERFLOW PARKING
While parking at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center is free, anyone who has been to AdeptiCon in the past knows what a headache it can be to find a spot on Friday and Saturday. To help alleviate this issue, we have secured overflow parking at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Chicago. The Hyatt Regency is located 5 mins away from the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center. See the Shuttle Schedule for transportation options to and from the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Chicago.

Note: Do not park in Lot 5 off Walter Payton Drive. All other spaces are available for hotel guest parking.

It is recommended you check with the AdeptiCon Registration to see if your badge has been turned in to Lost and Found. AdeptiCon assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or forgotten materials. AdeptiCon is not responsible for items lost in the mail (via the U.S. Postal Service) or items marked “delivered” by the USPS tracking system. Any returned mail will be available for pickup at AdeptiCon Registration on-site. All is not lost however! In the event you do lose your badge, you can always use your identification as a means to check into an event.

REFUNDS/EXCHANGES
There will be NO CASH REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES onsite. AdeptiCon cannot be responsible for travel, attendance or event issues caused by an Act of God(s), including, but not limited to, war, illness, strike, act of terrorism, severe weather, pandemics, or natural disasters.

See the Refund Policy for more details.

LOST AND FOUND
There will be a lost and found box at the Registration Desk. We will do our best to reunite you with any lost items or armies, but we cannot be responsible for items left unsupervised.

CARE OF TERRAIN AND THE CONVENTION CENTER
AdeptiCon volunteers have invested an incredible amount of time and effort to provide you with quality gaming terrain. Please treat the terrain with the utmost care throughout the weekend. If accidental damage does occur to a piece of terrain, please notify an event judge so the piece can be flagged for repair.

Please, please, please pick up after yourself. Leaving trash on and under tables makes for an unpleasant environment for everyone and greatly prolongs the hall cleanup at the end of the day.
