With AdeptiCon 2024 right around the corner, let’s discuss some of the changes in store for registration – namely the new AdeptiCon Badge structure and the option to “skip the line” and have your AdeptiCon Badge shipped directly to you.
For the last several years AdeptiCon has offered three badge types: standard, premium (1200), and the limited (400) very important gamer (VIG). While this has been successful, we found the growth of the convention combined with the limited nature of the VIG badge meant that a smaller and smaller percentage of our attendees could participate.
For AdeptiCon 2024, we are moving to a two-tier badge structure consisting of an AdeptiCon Core Badge (unlimited) and an AdeptiCon Advanced Badge (2000). Our expectation is that the Advanced Badge will fall somewhere between what the prior Premium and VIG bags offered. This change will allow more badge upgrade perks for attendees and provide our sponsors and vendors with additional ways to participate. It is important to note that increasing the total number of bags does mean that not all the bags will have the exact same contents, and while we will strive for balance across all bags, items will vary.
Skip the Line – Badge Shipping in 2024!!
Attendees will have the option to have their AdeptiCon badge shipped to an address provided during registration. Badges can only be sent domestically within the United States (we cannot ship badges internationally) and will ship towards the end of February via USPS Priority Mail. This will allow attendees to skip the registration queue onsite, and show up to the convention ready to game! Please note that only your badge will be shipped and that any AdeptiCon merchandise will still need to be picked up at some point over the course of the convention during normal registration desk hours.
Also note that the final day for refunds on shipped badges, and any merchandise purchased with a shipped badge, is February 5th, 2024. This differs slightly from our normal Refund Policy. Event tickets, regardless of badge type, can be refunded through March 8th, 2024…
