We are very proud to announce our new Volunteer sign up procedure for anyone wishing, and willing to assist AdeptiCon 2023! Our goal this year is to better structure our volunteer organization and coverage, and make it easier to let volunteers know how to sign up.
To accomplish this, a new Information & Volunteer Desk is being created for AdeptiCon 2023! The purpose of this desk is to facilitate answering general questions from attendees, provide directions for those looking for specific events, and allow attendees to sign up to volunteer onsite!
At its core, AdeptiCon’s continued success is dependent on our volunteers. Every year, people from across the globe put their time and effort into this convention. Some participate every year and help out, from setting up on Wednesday, to helping attendees check in each day, and then tearing down on Sunday.
Volunteers will need to sign up and register at “Signup.com” with the provided link below, either before AdeptiCon or onsite at the Information & Volunteer Desk. Once a volunteer has signed up, make sure you check in at the Volunteer Desk before starting your block so that AdeptiCon can track the time you’ve donated to ensure we can show our appreciation!
Times are broken down into 3 hour blocks:
- 7am-10am – Early morning
- 10am – 1pm – Late morning
- 1pm – 4pm – Afternoon
- 4pm – 7pm – Early evening
- 7pm – 10pm. – Late evening
