Winter is upon us, which means spring and the glorious return of AdeptiCon is that much closer. Planning, event scheduling, and logistics for 2022 have been challenging, for a myriad of reasons, and after a two-year deferment, much of the process has taken longer than would’ve been ideal. These challenges not only affected the convention, but also our numerous industry partners and key staff, like our illustrious hobby instructors. That said, we’ve been working hard, and are prepared to see AdeptiCon 2022 come back stronger than ever, with a slate of events, from tournaments to hobby seminars, that is both impressive and expansive. And we are very excited to share it.
To that end, we are ready to announce some important dates to mark on your calendar…
Registration for AdeptiCon 2022 will open on January 11th at 7:00 PM Central. The event catalog preview will be available on December 28th, so you have some time to plan your ideal convention schedule.
One new element of our logistical planning has been developing our Covid-19 vaccination and mitigation policy and procedures. We have been working with the venue and their partners, along with local and state resources to finalize these measures and we will release our detailed plan shortly. AdeptiCon will require all attendees to demonstrate either a negative Covid test within 72 hours prior to attendance or proof of vaccination. New Health & Safety Guidelines can be found here. These guidelines override any information in this post. With our international attendees in mind, but for the convenience and peace-of-mind of all attendees, we will have on-site rapid testing available.
Once again, we appreciate everyone’s patience as we navigate these new waters. It bears repeating, the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and attendees remains our highest priority.
