For all the latest news on events, sponsors, the exhibitor hall, swag bag items, the charity raffle and everything else that makes AdeptiCon the grand event it is, make sure to check our Facebook feed!
Finally, the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Details are now available on the Phyrix Events at Adepticon 2024!
Ruins Of Saratan IV: Frontline will be a 3 day, 3000 point linked narrative campaign similar to last year, it will have 48 spots each day. We are unable to expand the ticket availability for this event simply due to table space, there are only so many tables in the Nirvana Ballroom.
In addition, we have added Ruins Of Saratan IV: Zone Mortalis, which is a new fast and furious 1000 point ZM singles event. This will run concurrently to the frontline linked narrative and will have 24 spots per day. The results of these battles will contribute to the overall success or failure of your faction in the larger campaign.
Also, the Mega-ZM sees its return in a refined format. The first of our Phyrix: After Dark events, Ruins Of Saratan IV: Broadside! will be ran twice, once each on Friday and Saturday evening. We have also increased the ticket count for this event from last year to 24 players per session. These sessions are 2000 points per player and are a very casual team styled event.
We have spent the last year tuning each of the auxiliary systems we will be using. Points of Interest will make a return, with NPCs, Archaeotech and a new Mission Items category, which are points on the battlefield that can become objectives during the course of the game, representing new areas of importance being found while the battle rages on!
We have also launched the Phyrix Character Forge! Since the events of the Outer Reaches in 2023 have effectively trapped all ships except for the largest in the cluster, these ships have decided to leave while they are still able. Notably these larger ships include Glorianas and Legion flagships, this means models with the Unique sub-type will not be allowed, so we have designed a system which allows you to upgrade your HQs with various traits, representing how your individual commander has risen to command his Legion Battlegroup. These rules are optional but will be available across all Phryix events at Adepticon 2024.
We have a new document which combines all the auxiliary systems, as well as a narrative overview of the Phyrix cluster called the Phyrix Campaign Supplement. This document will see some revision before the events but Version 1.0 is available at www.linktr.ee/Phyrix

WIP Wednesday - Not Quite Crunch Time Yet?
What are you working on this week? I got some things done over the Thanksgiving break, including a unit of Warlord English Civil War Dragoons and a 1/2400 scale USS Alabama. Maybe someday I’ll work on something that isn’t a historical mini but today is not that day!

Just finished up another squad of Jetbikes for my Heresy White Scars.
Some basing to be done but almost there.
Black knight for old world for my undead empire theme vampire counts. On the old base for painting purposes only, I’ll rebase once we get the base sizes.
Working on some elves for Kings of War!
Some cities of sigmar. Going for a "chess" kingdom look. It'll probably come through more when I apply transfers and have a bunch of them next to eachother
What game is Alabama for? Is there ww2 naval battle game at adepticon?
Primered all my Rough Riders… So many horses.
Found out earlier this week that the army I was painting won’t be needed (since the event won’t be happening), pivoted to start the other army I planned for another event.
Heresy salamanders
More of the 8th. Got 10 more Marines and a lord on the way.
Kitbashing a Master Of Possession out of a Primaris Librarian and Chosen bits

It looks like badges can be shipped... Thank you!!!
Badge shipping is a fantastic idea. Should really help. Looking forward to the additional info on it.
Thank you thank you thank you for giving us a mail option, picking up badges was always a nightmare. Hopefully this will be easier on guests and the staff.
Getting steps in + crafting/hobbying = a conundrum.....perhaps I need a treadmill altered to fit right in front of my painting desk??
Does "Cart preview launch" mean the day the game list is published? If not, what date is that?
Brian Schlottman
I’m new to this (actually my teen son is so I’m trying to learn). If my son just wants to come to walk around and look at things do these dates affect us? Can I just buy us tickets to come watch things for a day or two?
What is the cart preview?
What time on 1/7
This will be my first AdeptiCon. Im looking forward to this 🙂

A Sunday for cart opening? Thank you for minor favors
Happy Thanksgiving
From the staff and crew here at AdeptiCon, we'd like to wish you and your loved ones safe holiday travels and a very Happy Thanksgiving.
But come tomorrow evening, after the culinary carnage has ceased, as you sit like some victorious galactic warlord, contemplating the desiccated carcass of your fowl enemy, remember that AdeptiCon planning and logistical operations have begun in earnest. Terrain is being painted and rules packets are being edited. So, after you've hit the gym on Friday, it might be a good time to start working on those armies, legions, warbands, fleets, and especially those competition entries!
Look for more information next week on important dates. Until then, have a great holiday,
AdeptiCon Staff

When will we get an event listing?
Terrain Tuesday: Terrainify
Welcome back to Terrain Tuesdays, where we spotlight some of the amazing terrain you'll be fighting over, under, and through come March. Today we want to give a shout out to Terrainify, designers of some very cool tabletop pieces. Whether you're looking for STL files to print yourself, or physical versions, Terrainify has some highly detailed options.
They've been generous enough to help support AdeptiCon's terrain cause and with the glorious return of Epic scale gaming, in the form of Legions Imperialis, we're scaling some of their terrain to work perfectly.
You can take a look at their other offerings here: htt#terrainifyrrainify.com/
