AdeptiCon 2023 Wrap-Up and 2024 Announcement

AdeptiCon 2023, now in the proverbial books, was, by all accounts, an epic event. Some of the metrics of success are quantifiable, with 6,500 attendees rolling dice in 735 events. We raised, with your help, $10,000 for charity, with additional independent fundraising by groups like TableWar and the Dice Heroes. We witnessed the galaxy-burning tabletop conflicts of the prestigious Qualifier for the World Championships of Warhammer, with Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000 battles raging across four days. We saw three major World Championships in the ‘Star Wars’ universe of games. We stood in awe of the hundreds of incredible entries that populated the legendary Golden Demon painting competition, along with incredible displays of talent spread across five other contests. We even had a shuttle, running between our two venues, that was pretty much on schedule all weekend.

But there were also the less quantifiable, more personal AdeptiCon experiences. Young players sat at the demo tables and learned a new game. Painters, even veteran artists, picked up new techniques in a hobby seminar. And a group of friends who hadn’t been all in one place since college met and told tales of long-ago battles. Moments like these are the true metric by which we should judge a successful event and AdeptiCon 2023 was full of great memories.

But we can’t tarry too long on the past! Planning for AdeptiCon 2024 begins soon, and in some cases has already begun. To that end, we are happy to announce the dates for AdeptiCon 2024. March 20th through the 24th.

We will see you there.

Thank you for letting me and my grandson work with such an awesome team. The events were beyond amazing! He was all in on his second year of volunteering...

Don’t forget the North American championship for Freeblades

Wanted to give a shout out to the Adepticon crew that worked the Schaumburg Ballroom. You all were fantastic. Due to an error in setting tables the room was one row short... of course for my event. The crew got to work got us tables, chairs and even worked with another group to help keep all our tables close so we didn't have to jump a row of tables to judge the event. Thanks for all your hard work. Looking forward to running more events next year.

Certainly had a good time but came home with a case of Covid. Still planning to go back next year though.

This was my first time running an event and I'll ABSOLUTELY do it again next year! Adepticon is the best!! Thanks Hank, Mike and all the great volunteers!!!

Where can we see tournament results? Thank you for the great event as always!!!

Will there be event pricing for the hotel?

Best. Show. Of. The. Year. And the staff is above and beyond amazing!

Any chance we can bring back combat patrols for 40k?

Why is HistoriCon considered the largest table top miniatures games convention when Adepticon is clearly outdrawing them by several thousand?

This was my first time going to Adepticon & I had a great time. Played some games, meet up with friends & made some new ones. Thanks to all who helped organized.

First time back in 15 years and WOW so many awesome changes! LOVED it! See yall next year!

This was my grandson and son’s first event and they Thad a blast. I hope next year’s event will offer more shuttle services to and from a multiple selection of hotels that will be listed in plenty of time to be booked.

Had a great time at AdeptiCon this year. Looking forward to coming back again in 2024!

Just hope to see some improvements with parking. That's about the only difficulty I have when trying to attend Adepticon. Everything else is great!

This was the first year my son competed in the AoS Youngbloods tournament and he had an absolute blast! He already said he wants to do it again next year!

Was an amazing Adepticon! So excited for next year

This was our first Adepticon. So well put together and organized. Thank you all

Next year it’ll start on my birthday. That will be dangerous for my wallet.

It was an event of "Galactic" proportions! Can't wait for next year!

The location will be the same?

Cant wait!

Thank you, yet again, for an amazing event guys. 12th time, and the joy has not diminished one bit! See you in March.

Looking forward to it.

Best Adepticon so far. You guys absolutely killed it. Already planning for 2024.

That's an amazing game. Lovet it. How many hours is a game?

Who ended up winning?

Great Epic ACW setup! This puts my Henry House Hill scenario at MillCon to shame. Wonderful!

Very impressive! I wish I got a chance to see it in person.

Looks very cool. What rules?

Didn't realize there was historical gaming there..

Amazing!

Alexander! Check out this board! Insane how pretty this is
