With summer in full swing, we hope everyone is spending some time with friends and family around the grill or by the pool. Or maybe even at the beach in Amity, New England. Amity, as you know, means friendship. But whatever summer activity you’re enjoying, know this - planning has already begun for AdeptiCon 2026.
With a successful Year One in Milwaukee under our proverbial belts, we’re looking at what worked well and what can be improved upon in Year Two. Rest assured that the AdeptiCon team is already reviewing logistics, planning space utilization, talking to exhibitors, and even scheduling terrain efforts. We are planning to build on last year’s foundation to make 2026 an even greater success.

AMG has announced some important updates to their 2025/2026 Grand Tournament season, a series of competitive events that can earn the winner an automatic seat, with no need to participate in initial qualifying Heat rounds, for the Open Worlds Tournaments at AdeptiCon 2026. We here at AdeptiCon are thrilled to once again partner with AMG to host Open Worlds events for Marvel Crisis Protocol, Star Wars: Shatterpoint, and Star Wars: Legion tournaments.

Congratulations to Our Warhammer Hero: Matthias Weeks
It is our privilege to extend a laurel and hearty handshake to all of this year's Warhammer Heroes. These are the men and women whose efforts make the Warhammer hobby the vibrant community that it is. But today we offer a very special congratulations to our very own Matthias Weeks, co-founder of AdeptiCon, master event organizer, terrain painter, and long-time hobbyist of the highest caliber. Matthias' work over the years has literally built our convention, terraforming a small, nearly airless regional Warhammer 40,000 tournament into a habitable world capable of sustaining life for 10,000+ attendees.
AdeptiCon has, over the years, garnered a well-deserved reputation for emphasizing and showcasing the hobby aspect of tabletop wargaming and the level to which our attendees have embraced this ethos was evident with even the most casual stroll around the Baird Center during the 2025 con weekend. The time, effort, and skill our attendees devote to their armies and warbands results in an annual exhibition of the pinnacle of the hobby. And the culmination of this commitment is Saturday evening’s AdeptiCon Army Showcase. This tradition is one of AdeptiCon’s most anticipated events and it is here that literally thousands of hobbyists come together in mutual appreciation of the most remarkable armies that have taken the field over the weekend.
The forces and their accompanying displays set up for review at the Army Showcase run the gamut, from the nightmare battlefields of the 41st millennia to the shores of Dark Age England, but each represents the highest level of hobby achievement in one of AdeptiCon’s wide range of tournaments and events. A very special congratulation, once again, to everyone who participated this year. You have set the bar high and we are looking forward to 2026.
