Why is AdeptiCon requiring proof of vaccination?

- Attendees may provide proof of full vaccination status or a negative test.
- Tests must be administered by a medical provider/professional. The test must be an antigen COVID-19 test taken within 24 hours of badge pick up for the event, or a PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of badge pick up for the event.
- No over-the-counter at-home/self tests will be allowed
What do I need to provide to show proof of vaccination?

- Attendees will be asked to show proof of full vaccination from a FDA or WHO approved vaccine on their smartphone or through a physical copy, along with an appropriate ID matching the name on the documentation.
- This proof of vaccination is required prior to receiving your AdeptiCon 2022 Badge.
- People can provide proof of vaccination by showing:
- A CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card; or
- An official immunization record from the jurisdiction, state, or country where the vaccine was administered; or
- An ‘app’ that provides a digital record of vaccinations; or
- A digital or physical photo of such a card or record that includes the individual’s name, the vaccine brand administered, and the date the vaccination was administered
- Anyone 18 years or older must also present a government-issued ID such as driver’s license or passport.
- We accept proof of vaccination of any vaccine approved by the World Health Organization: https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/covid-19-vaccines.
What does “fully” vaccinated mean?

- AdeptiCon will adhere to whatever the current definition of Fully Vaccinated is, as defined by the CDC.
- An individual is considered fully-vaccinated:
- Two weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series with an approved COVID-19 vaccine, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
- Two weeks after a single-dose series with an approved COVID-19 vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
- This is based on the current CDC definition and may change according to CDC guidelines.
What COVID-19 vaccinations will be accepted at AdeptiCon?

- Any COVID-19 vaccine authorized for emergency use or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
- Pfizer/BioNTech
- Moderna
- Johnson & Johnson/Jansen
- Any COVID-19 vaccine authorized for emergency use by the World Health Organization (WHO):
- AstraZeneca/Oxford
- Sinopharm-BBIBP
- Sinovac
- Covishield
- Covaxin
- All other COVID-19 vaccines, including Sputnik V, Sputnik Light, and Sinopharm-WIBP are not acceptable.
- Any COVID-19 vaccine authorized for emergency use or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
What is the attendee refund policy if I am unable to attend due to COVID-19 or the recent changes in policy?

- Typically, we are unable to offer ticket refunds beyond our published refund date of 2/28/2022. Please ensure you are free from COVID-19 symptoms prior to attending or traveling. Please see the Refund Policy for full details.
- If these recent policy changes impact your ability to attend, please cancel your registration by 2/28/2022 to receive a full refund per the Refund Policy.
Am I required to wear a face covering at AdeptiCon?

- No. Masks are recommended but optional.
How are the health and safety measures at AdeptiCon being enforced?

- Everyone is expected to fully comply with all health and safety guidelines. Acknowledging the guidelines and agreeing to comply is a requirement of entry (See the Health & Safety Acknowledgement). Failure to flow the guidelines will result in removal from the event, and a forfeiture of all badge and event fees.
