AdeptiCon on Instagram and 2018 Photo Contest
AdeptiCon is launching its Instagram account with a 2018 AdeptiCon Photo Contest. Follow adepticon on the ‘gram (as the kids call it) and post your favorite photo from AdeptiCon 2018 with the hashtag #adepticon2018 by April 30th. Could be an action shot of a dramatic game, a photo of one of the fantastic cosplayers, or even an artistic take of your favorite AdeptiCon meal. We’ll go through all the photos and declare a winning photo (remember, taste is subjective). That lucky photog will receive a VIG swag bag for 2019, on us!

Godtear on Kickstarter
Steamforged Games previewed and ran some amazing demos of their fast-paced game of fantasy warband combat at AdeptiCon 2018. There were even some pre-release Godtear models in the swag bag. The game was well-received at the convention and the models are dynamic and characterful.
Now Godtear is up and running on Kickstarter where it has already reached its goal and gone far beyond! Now is the time to check out what Steamforged is offering and maybe even get in on the ground floor of what will surely become a welcome addition to AdeptiCon’s slate of regular events starting next year. ... AdeptiCon: Past and Future
By all measures, AdeptiCon 2018 was a rousing success. With an incredible slate of tournaments, events, demonstrations, classes, seminars, and the largest contingent of vendors to date, AdeptiCon 2018 was the biggest and boldest yet. None of that would be possible without you and we would like to once again thank the volunteers, event organizers, vendors, hobby instructors, and, most importantly, the attendees for making 2018 an event to remember. 2018 was truly a historic year for the convention and the continued growth speaks to the effort of hundreds of talented and committed people.
But, as we finish scribing the 2018 entry into the great Annals of AdeptiCon, we also take a minute to look forward. To that end, we are happy to announce the official dates for AdeptiCons 2019 and 2020:
2019: 3/27/2019 through 3/31/2019
2020: 3/25/2020 through 3/29/2020
We, of all people, know it’s never too early to begin planning that next army, competition entry, or event, so we are glad we can provide these dates as soon as they were confirmed. So, once again, thank you all for an epic 2018 and we look forward to seeing you in 2019, 2020, and beyond… ... See MoreSee Less

Certainly was a blast, thank you so much to everyone that made it possible. Already counting the days till next year 🙂 (BTW, heard rumors there might be a venue change if the Con keeps growing, is that on the horizon?)
Had a fantastic time again, and looking forward to next year just as much. Maybe more! Could align with the kids' Spring Break!
Wait is there gonna be stuff on Wednesday now? Or am I reading this wrong.
My vacation is on the calendar!
Ill assume these dates are locked in to be @ the Renaissance in Schaumburg yes?
Is their plans for better parking options? shuttles?
This was my first AdeptiCon and I had a blast. Your show will now be an annual event on my calendar! Thank you for all the effort you put into making this a good year and I look forward to seeing more in 2019!
Thank you for everything over the years
This event was a ton of fun! Few recommendations: -improve parking options -have postings outside of each room with the room schedule on them to help newcomers -improve vendor hall hours. People who play events all day want to experience these as well. As a 40k player, vendor hall opened after we started and ended before we were done. Meanwhile, I saw people flocking to the Toledo Gameroom booth that was open after hours.
As the Meta moves up in importance I'm kind of sad to say this year will be my last 40k team tourney. My biggest issue was the CP were a complete mess, most games I played people were under different impressions about how many CP they received(also dropping the CP bonus the weekend of for being the same allegiance was a serious dick move for hybrid teams). As well as some other teams lists not being legal as per tourney rules. The event overall was great though! Staff was amazing as well as venders! Looking forward to exploring the other events at AdeptiCon next year!
When will the group rates be available through the hotel?
Amanda here ya go. 2019
Was a good time. My main concern was the lack of open gaming area and it being shared with bitz trading after the hall close. Hopefully this will be looked into and clearer in the future
2nd year in a row I’ve been to Adepticon and I can’t wait for next year to make it 3 in a row
The vendor show hall was VERY well organized this year, with bigger aisles and easier navigation, even on Saturday. Everyone we talked to said it felt bigger and better. Congrats to the organizers!!
Daniel Stupar Daniel Tennison Chris Stupar Jonathan Stupar Brandon Campbell. There we go start planning now lol
So do people who stayed to help break down stuff get access to hotels early ir jiat registration.
Some signage for the casual tables would be a benefit. If we knew bits set up started at 5, we would have found somewhere else to set up a game at 3:30.

Where are the results of the charity raffle for the 4 imperial knights?
This year was my first year, definitely going to make it a recurring event!
This was my first year and I had a great time. Some things I might suggest are more visible con volunteers around the venue, there were a few small events I wanted to observe but wasn’t able to find them where they were scheduled to be. (For example Imperial Assault) Maybe some better signage?
Will you be updating your terrain next year for 8th edition 40k?
